Obstructive sleep apnea is treated surgically with a hypoglossal nerve stimulator (HGNS) implant, which stimulates the upper airway. A retrospective study of all patients who underwent HGNS implantation at a single tertiary medical center was conducted between January 9, 2021, and January 9, 2022.
